Syncope

This is a series of painting in oil and wax medium on canvas using a limited palette of predominantly reds, with yellow, blue-black and blue. These works are to do with colour and shape. They are closely tied to landscape, and to music, in particular Miles Davis Quintet Live in Rome & Copenhagen 1969, and some of the music of Philip Glass, such as Solo Piano.
